## What it does.

Invoices, reports and PDFs need different kinds of preparation. AIForFiles brings structured data extraction and document assistance together with everyday file utilities.

## My contribution

I own and develop AIForFiles, combining AI document workflows, batch file processing and a shared account history in one commercial product.

## Project workflow

### Extract structured data

Export invoice and receipt fields, document tables or custom fields to CSV for review and use in spreadsheets.

### Work with document text

Create summaries with source references, translate extracted text, and suggest categories and filenames without changing the originals.

### Process a batch

Handle files individually within a batch and revisit recent jobs from account history. The six AI tools share one allowance, counting successful files.

### Prepare and organize files

Convert formats, compress files, merge and split PDFs, reorder pages, or extract readable source text into one Markdown document.

## Project scope & status

AIForFiles is in testing and is not yet in production. Document AI and Markdown export require an account. Conversion, compression and PDF utilities are available without one. Document AI requires readable text, so scans and images need OCR first. AI outputs need review. Markdown extracts source text without using the AI allowance.
